First Edition Advanced D&D

I recently realized that I had missed out on a core geek experience. I have never played Dungeons and Dragons. Talking with a few of my friends, I realized I was not alone. Some people couldn't play because they were forbidden, some had no one to play with, others still were girls, whose parents bound them with traditional roles and games.

To remedy this I acquired a set of first edition rule books for Advanced Dungeons and Dragons with the intent on running a game for neophytes using known obsolete and antiquated rules. If that doesn't sound like fun, you are in the wrong place.
