Dungeon on the Surface

I think the old players manuals were written like a spec sheet for a computer program. But when you look at all the computer RPGs, the role playing aspect has been discarded, and all that is left is click-and-kill.

I think it would be great to have a program to handle all the rules and restrictions, leaving the players free to play the characters. Perhaps this proof of concept from Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center will be the future of gaming.

Unlikely, but still awesome.

I can't say I like how the dice are handled in this system, but it a great start.
